We  aim to offer "Home from Home" self-catering cottages privately positioned on the edge of Tutbury Castle Ancient Monument. Originally a barn that has been converted into four adjoining bijou cottages. They are all on ground floor level sleeping 2 to 4 persons. Free off-road parking outside. 

The cottages are Ideally located for walkers with countryside footpaths right on your doorstep. Tutbury is one of Staffordshire’s finest villages being located on the edge of the County bordering South Derbyshire, South of the River Dove.  Peacocks roam freely and the village has a lovely friendly atmosphere. 

Tutbury village is less than 500 meters away (6mins walk) with an array of shops, pubs, restaurants, eateries, mini mart, post office and a chemist all on the high street.  There are also craft, antique and gifts shops.

The Norman Church and Museum are popular spots to visit. 

Tutbury is most famous for its Castle, this can be hired for many events including weddings, One of the nicest things about weddings is being surrounded by your family and friends.  Here at Little Park Holiday Homes, you can stay in any of the four individual cottages all together.

Places to Go

Derbyshire and Staffordshire are known for the historic houses and parks which many of them are owned and managed by the

National Trust this making them a perfect day out in the countryside. 

Just a few of the beautiful places to visit are Chatsworth House. Sudbury Hall, Melbourne House, Kedleston Hall,

Trentham Estate, Caulk Abbey and Haddon Hall. 

Other market towns and stone villages include Bakewell, Ashbourne, Buxton and the historic

Matlock Bath.

Thrill Seekers, we are less than a 30-minute drive from Alton Towers and just over half an hour to Drayton Manor Park.

Also close by is Gulliver's Kingdom,

Darley Moor, Donnington Park and The Uttoxeter Racecourse.Days Out, you can visit Carsington Water for walks and water sports,

Tissington Trail for Cycling other relaxing walks are Dovedale and Monsal Head.  Tamworth and Swadlincote

have dry ski-slopes (Snowdome) and the keen golfer is spoilt for choice with several golf courses.Ideal Family days out,

Twycross Zoo, Sherwood Forest and the National Tram Museum.  Willington and Barton Marina, Branston Water Park, Conkers,

and National Forest Adventure Farm.   Belmont golf club 7 driving range is only 2 miles away or choose from many

local walks including the Fauld explosion near Hanbury and right on our doorstep ideal for dog walkers is the Tutbury Heritage walk.

For a little retail therapy, you can visit the Westfield shopping centre

in Derby City Centre or McArthur Glen Factory

Outlet a short drive away on the A38. Birmingham City has great shopping centres, The Mailbox and

Bullring are in the heart of the city and for events throughout the year NEC Birmingham.
